I recently landed another internship at Flavorpill. I’ve been following them for a really long time so I’m so excited to be working for them!
I came in at a great time, right before Yoga at the Great Lawn.
I’m in as the design intern, but I’ve been volunteering to help at events also, which is exactly what I wanted (sort of the opposite of my situation at Time Out New York). I ran the guest list at their Yoga afterparty and tonight I’m working the door at their Northside Festival showcase. I’m super pumped because Drink Up Buttercup is playing, an awesome high energy band who I saw for the first time at Pianos last summer.
Every Friday at Flavorpill the Managing Editor goes through the best events for the weekend. The NYC Bubble Battle was one of them, and she told everyone I was going, and I shook my fist and woo-d. Then another Editor asked me to take pictures so they could use them in a post! So I will be photographing at the event in Times Square and the afterparty.
